FastPak Professional Throwline

The FastPak is an improvement over the typical throwline and features a semi-flexible ring in the bag opening to enable users to repack the bag in approximately a third (1/3) of the time and with reduced effort compared to conventional style bags. Not only does this reduce the repack effort/time (often considered a nuisance in using such devises), but it also affords the user the ability to make repeated, accurate throws of a fully packed throwline with minimal repack delay.  The time and effort saved in training alone due to easier repack will be appreciated by all crew members.

Each bag is constructed of UV resistant polyester fabric with a retro-reflective visibility band encircling the bag’s bottom. Inside the bag is a closed-cell flotation insert. A full length, adjustable side strap with quick-release buckle allows the throwline to be securely stowed in almost any location and doubles as a carry handle. Seventy-five (75) feet of professional grade 7/16” water rescue rope (see item #14001) is included with the FastPak. This rope features a 16-strand kernmantle construction for improved grip and abrasion protection. The tied rope loop for victim handhold is reinforced with a flexible hose grip that keeps loop open, allowing victim to quickly grip the throwline and also serves to protect the rope loop from abrasion (common when used around non-skid decks). Throwline is available with an optional 3-5/32” stainless steel snap hook installed at the factory.
