Product Description
Automatic survivor locator light attaches to almost any style life jacket. This model is authorized for use as Distress Marker Light (DML) by the US Navy (NSN 6230-01-686-4184) and includes attached hook patch and tether cord. The ALX SOLAS features a LED lamp for durability & brightness. Factory installed and sealed alkaline batteries provide a maintenance free light that only requires replacement after use or after the 5-year expiration date. Alkaline batteries are non-hazardous for easy transport/logistics and disposal compared to lithium battery powered lights. Small design has rounded edges to maintain inflation bladder integrity when used on inflatable PFDs. This LED light automatically activates for 8+ hours when in contact with salt or fresh water or can be manually activated/deactivated by simply pressing the integrated push button. Installation is quick with the included snap-on clip that can accommodate webbing up to 2" (5 cm) wide, providing a secure attachment to almost any style life jacket in a matter of seconds. The marine tough design ensures years of useful service life.
